I love the arts scene in Atlanta. What I love most about it is the way there’s always something new to discover–like the performance troupe Crux Collective, who reached out to me last minute to photograph a dress rehearsal of their piece PARALLEL, an abstract, highly internal and metaphorical two-act dance epic featuring aerial work, movement, live music, and incredibly evocative set design.

I loved doing this shoot and would love to do more–it’s different from live music, but left feeling like leveling my gaze on the stage gave me a unique understanding of the piece.
