I actually don’t remember how or when Quentin of Chicago-based rap duo Angry Blackmen and I ended up getting connected on social media, but I know it happened. I appreciated their music from a distance, and hoped that they’d come through Atlanta at some point after their album THE LEGEND OF ABM dropped this year. This fall it finally happened. It might surprise you to know (based on the type of acts I’ve shot in the past) that I fucking love rap and hip-hop, and that I was absolutely giddy to see these guys go all-out and completely dominate the room.

Plus, they’re super nice, chill people. Catch ‘em live if they’re in town. You won’t regret it.
